Sports Clubs

Sports Clubs and sports coaches involvement is a fundamental foundation of our programmes.  As a key part of the SportInspired programmes we ensure that funded sports clubs are able to be sustainably offered in primary schools across the United Kingdom and offer a progression into the locally available sports clubs.

"Since supporting SportInpsired’s multisport and inclusive festivals, we have found that we have been able to grow our footprint and identity within the area to delivering multisport curriculum and extra curriculum sessions to roughly 15 primary and secondary schools in the borough engaging with approximately 500 unique children and attendance figures of approximately 3000 children through such delivery in the last academic year. The links that SportInspired create for us by introducing us to local schools and securing us slots at PE coordinator forums has been invaluable assets to us and it’s a valuable partnership that we are actively looking to develop further." Ross Williams, Development Coach, West Ham United Foundation

  • "What's the point of riding up a mountain that it'd be quicker to go up by foot?"

here exists in Asturias, Northern Spain, in the middle of the Sierra del Aramo, a mountain whose road is barely marked on maps because it is a cattle road that was only recently paved. It is called Alto de l'Angliru, and has been used 8 times in La Vuelta (the Grand Cycling Tour of Spain) prompting Marzio Bruseghin, the Italian Rider to say "What's the point of riding up a mountain that it'd be quicker to go up on foot" Well, for Sportinspired of course, and Neale will be doing it in May!
