Senior Programme Manager

Charlie started working in the sports-charity sector at the age of 16 due to her own experiences of growing up in a zero-income home and knowing the positive impact sport has on communities in deprived areas. Her previous working experiences allowed her to work with some of the most vulnerable families across London, and see first-hand the social and economic disadvantages they face due to their cultural background, religious beliefs and even their postcodes.

SportInspired offered Charlie an opportunity on a national scale to reach such families and tackle such issues with the use of a tool that has proven to unite the world even through the toughest of times – SPORT!
