Sports Clubs

SportInspired works with sports clubs to increase participation, build capacity and develop connections in their communities

In every community, we find a number of unsung heroes in our sports coaches. Our SportInspired Games programmes work with these coaches to celebrate and promote what they do, increasing participation in their sport and helping make new connections within their communities.

The SportInspired Games programme is devised to bring together the hidden superpowers in our communities. Our inspiring sports festival is the opening chapter which connects children with a world of opportunities, which they will continue to enjoy long after the festival is over. Even the least sporty and confident children find a sport they can connect with.

Following on from our inspiring launch, we work together to ensure longevity. This includes a variety of promotional and developmental activities, including brokering new relationships between sports clubs and schools. As a result, links between school sport and community sport are strengthened, providing more profile and support for current opportunities and creating new ones where needed.

If you are a sports club and are interested in working with us, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Through working with SportInspired, I have gained many local contacts with schools, community clubs and local community. SportInspired has played a key role in helping to lay down a clear pathway to the community that will help further develop and inspire our children. Thames View Junior School has welcomed this with open arms, and so have many other schools in the Borough.
