All young people have leadership qualities, even if they don’t know it. Our programmes cultivate those that are confident and embolden those that are shy, whilst allowing them to give back to the community.

We are committed to developing the leaders of tomorrow, we train “Young Leaders” in secondary schools in employability and leadership skills and give them responsibility and opportunity to put their skills to practice by running our festivals.

Young People training received

 

  • Young Leader Sports Qualification 1 and or 2 [include link to official SLQ website]
  • Vocational skills training
  • Provided opportunity to run large-scale events
  • Post festival training enables long term embedding of skills gained
